Well, the latest edition to the 8MH Offbeat network gives you all those feels and more … Located in Naukuchiyatal, Uttarakhand, our Cottage on the Lake is an absolute little gem 🙂
A 4-room cozy property, the cottage comes with a cook and caretaker to take care of all your needs peaceful place to stay.

The space
The following are some details to help you plan better for your upcoming trip
– it’s a 4-bedroom cottage is Situated right on the naukuchiyatal lake . You feel like the lake actually belongs to you with unencumbered access to the same . It really is a very unique spot to be staying at in India !
– The cottage comes with a caretaker and cook free of charge
– Food will be on actuals and you will be instructing the cook on the menu for the day and he will accordingly prepare the meals as per your taste. The caretaker will give you the actual bills for the raw material (eggs, bread, butter, vegetables, meat, mineral water, etc) he purchases locally from the market and you can request the bill daily to check accordingly. The bill can be settled with him at the end of your stay and you can coordinate the same. You may want to carry cold meat cuts, cheese, good bread, etc that you would like to have during your stay as these are not available near the cottage.
– The kitchen is fully functional.
– Tea & Coffee is on the house for your entire stay.
– The cottage provides towels but toiletries of personal preference are to be carried individually.
– We have indoor games like scrabble and lots of movies that you can watch on the DVD player. You can kayak, zipline on the lake, or go paragliding if the weather permits. There are many walking trails around the cottage for some stunning walks.
– We have free wi-fi.
– We do allow smoking but not inside the cottage. You can smoke outside on the lawn or open area.
– We also would like all guests to respect the cottage and its serenity & peace.
